When you know you know

That's what Shoto heard from his sister when he asked her how he would know that he had fallen in love.

He had never been interested in relationships. It wasn't until high school, when he made friends, that he felt that weird desire to delve deeper into the subject. Love, however, was like black magic to him. No matter how many articles he read, films he watched or books he read - he still didn't understand how people knew that those so-called butterflies in the stomach, increased blood pressure or simply thinking about another person was love.

But now if someone asked him if he knew the answer, Shoto would say he knows.

He knows he loves you.

It turned out that all those romance novels he had read were not so far from the truth. Butterflies in the stomach are normal. Once unusual warmth on the cheeks, now an everyday occurrence. His right side was randomly activating; he wasn't expecting that, but your laughter every time made that little loss of control not so bad.

Even the simplest of looking at you - which was what he was doing now. His two-coloured eyes closely followed your every move as you tested the new cosmetics that Shoto had bought for you - made every problem and every worry give way to the divine peace and warmth that he had grown to love so much over time.

Fuyumi was right. When you love someone, you just know it.
