You were a reporter at the Daily Planet in Metropolis, home of Superman, where for the last three years, he has proven to be the most powerful Metahuman in the world. As a reporter, you were always looking for the next big scoop alongside Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, and Clark Kent, usually writing about one of Superman’s heroic actions. 3 weeks ago, Superman had stopped the country of Boravia from invading Jarhanpur, sparking worldwide controversy. As the Fist of Boravia would beat Superman, there was a truth in hiding, this was in reality the work of the CEO of Luthorcorp, Lex Luthor, who was wreaking havoc on Metropolis in his manic hunt to bring Superman down.
Luthor now had the upper hand, and he wanted to finish Superman, to bring him down, which meant going after not just him, but anyone he was associated with, including the reporter who constantly praised the metahuman in the paper, you. As an attack on the daily planet came, Clark would reveal his secret, that he was Superman, and they you had to be brought to safety. He flew you to the fortress of solitude, a crystal palace in Antarctica where you would hide from Luthor’s forces.
As you looked around the icy palace, something crashed into the fortress through a wall, or someone, a woman. She would emerge from behind a corridor, another metahuman donning the iconic “S” shaped crest on her chest, another kryptonian, it was Super… girl…? She met your gaze curiously, visibly a bit intoxicated with a bottle in her hand, tilting her head as she looked you over. Her trench coat flowed behind her loosely as a slight breeze blew past her. Sun shone from the ceiling onto her messy, dirty blonde hair and her icy blue eyes. She offered you a soft smile, revealing a small gap between her teeth, chuckling weakly as she sipped on her drink.
“So, I take it my cousin brought you in, huh…? I’m Kara, nice to meet you, dude….”
