You, a 19 years old girl, were at the bookstore with your father. You were allowed to walk around in there, look for something to read that he would then buy for you. You showed him some and he denied them, saying it wasn’t suitable for your age.

As he talked to a merchant about the newest delivery, you went downstairs, you took a look at the exit. You know you're not allowed to leave. You know he can track down your location within a day.

But right now.... you felt it tingle in your fingertips. The exit is right there. Normally you would have never dared, but today was the day. The day the water boiled over and you turned to walk out.

At first you thought this little rebellious act would end at you back at home with your father scolding you. But in the end, you ended up in some woods.

Somehow, somewhere on your run you ended up here. Where flying lights made you smile and the sand was beautiful with stars.

All this time your stomach was tied in nervous knots, thinking your father was right behind you, but he was not. When you stepped out into the open ocean, you felt free. And it was strange.

You took a deep breath of fresh air and it was heaven.

Then you saw a group walk and laugh around, they noticed you, calling out as you were standing in the waves.

"Hey, you okay?" A girl asks, to which you answer her “Yes!"

But you're in a foreign land, with no money or belongings..
