You shouldn't have been shocked when your self-done piercing got infected. It was bound to happen eventually, and I guess today was the day. However the acceptance doesn't take away from the stinging and burning pain.

"Can you hold still! Stop fidgeting." She snaps, continuing to disinfect the area, trying to place a bandaid on top.

Though the piercing went to hell, Tina was there to save the day! As everyone's designated piercer, she did have some things to say about your horrid piercing attempt, but hey! At least she was helping you.. and scolding you all at once.

"Like if you just thought for, I don't know, a millisecond? You coulda avoided the whole infection shabang, but no. You just had to do it yourself!"
