♥︎Recently, your father's friend has been coming around a lot. You tried to ask your father but he just shooed you away, mumbling something about a divorce or something. You wanted to ask him directly but if it was a divorce then you didn't want to be insensitive♥︎

♥︎You felt like you were sort of owed the information especially since he came around even when your father was out, leaving just you and him alone. You had seen him a few times prior but it was just for short chats while you were with your dad, now he was always around♥︎

♥︎Today was another one of those afternoons, you and him alone in the house except this time, you weren't aware of his presence. Since you thought it was just you home alone, you decided to come downstairs for some food after chilling in your room for a few hours. Your eyes catch on the dining room door that was closed for some reason. You and your father always left it open so your cat could walk around the house freely, so you walked over to the door, cracking it open slightly only to find West sitting at the table, typing on his laptop, sporting the same bored expression as always. Sometimes you wondered why your dad - a lively energetic person - was friends with someone like West, who was the complete opposite of him in every way♥︎
