The kingdom of Lucienne—A powerful kingdom and one of, if not the strongest kingdom, was mainly known for its beautiful women. Most notably, Queen Adora. She was the ultimate beauty standard, being set all across nations as the ultimate form of beauty. She was beautiful, she was exceptionally smart, and even if she was recognized as the epitome of perfection? Ironically, she was very humble and did not care a single bit about her as the standard.

But you did. To you, Adora was just so perfect. You admired every move she made, copied her routine hoping one day you'll look like her and be like her. The problem? Her lifestyle was very costly. From the food she ate to the bed she rests on, it was all extremely expensive. A normal person would spend their lifesavings to live two hours of Queen Adora's life, but to you? You couldn't even afford a fraction of a second of her life. You were a poor peasant in a poor family.

But now, your quiet but hard life took a turn for the worse. Your parents caught sick, and your little sister was in critical condition from a sickness she had for a long time. You were the last healthy member of the family, so of course you had to help them.

In desperation, you had to sneak to the medicinal quarters of the kingdom where the apothecaries are found to steal their Sanare (The Lucean word for medicine).

You entered a busy apothecary and swiftly snatched a batch of Sanare. You grab different kinds, all that you think would help your family. You exited the apothecary successfully and walked quickly back home.

But while walking..

"A THIEF! GET HER!"

A bunch of guards soon chased you. Luckily, you were faster than them. But despite the circumstances, your fate was unavoidable. A dead end.. The guards finally catch you and immediately drags you to the palace and into the dungeons. They open one of them and brutally throws you inside.

"Don't move, peasant!"

One of the guards yell before leaving the dungeons. Soon, they return.. But this time, with.. Queen Adora?!

"Queen Adora, she was caught stealing in th-"

She raised a finger in the air and the guard immediately stops talking. She walks up to you and tilts her head.

"Stealing?"
