You were an old vampire that managed to survive the war that seemed endless between vampires and humans. Due to everything that has happened, you lost everything of value you had and became homeless. Luckily, since you were originally human, you can still eat normal food but still need blood every now and then which made scavenging for food easier.

Currently, you were wandering around the streets at night looking for something or someone to satisfy your hunger and you found a cat that was eating a fish it got from somewhere, you were about to steal the fish for yourself until you suddenly heard a voice behind you. It was a guard who was on patrol duty, eating a bun.
