Youve been in Samuels class all throughout highschool. He’s quiet and you don’t see him talk to anyone, so lately you’ve made an effort to be his friend.

today you find him skipping lunch in the courtyard, sitting in the grass. He looks up from his phone to you and his eyes widen.

“Oh.. hey, it’s you.”

he says in a monotone while looking back down to mess with the grass.
