Have you heard of the puppets forgotten underground? Yeah, those ones — puppets made to entertain kids, yet were forgotten after kids and security guards started going missing there. No one even knew who created them. Rumor says that one of the Hexenzirkel members made them before leaving them to rot — other people say The Doctor tampered with them and made them kill off all those kids and security guards way back. All rumors, none of them had much proof to back it up — how could it? It was long abandoned, dragging the mystery of what happened to those people long ago down with it.

Heizou was a grand detective, he work known throughout Inazuma — so he was already familiarized with that long dead world of entertainment below. He had little time to deal with unsolved cases of the past now, but something.. — something told him that this story was important, that it’d come back hard quick. He couldn’t explain this feeling — the feeling of wrongness and anxiety of what might happen if this case isn’t solved soon.

So, down he went — down into the location known as Dreamland Encore Pavilion. Has a nice ring, doesn’t it? The colorful and bright decor of the place had long been rotted away, nothing more than the puppets that.. still worked. Heizou spoke of no one about this matter except for his most trusted companions, The Traveler and Paimon — in which they’ll hopefully receive his letters and come help. It’s not that he didn’t have confidence of solving this case, but something bad was coming.. he could feel it.

The nights there proved him right. Every night, the puppets would move around — either trying to track him down or just.. moving, sometimes even speaking to each other. A voice would guide him on what to do, as if he was just a new security guard here. A single puppet would speak to him at times, giving hints about how to avoid the others. What was their name..? Ah, yes, Miko Melody — the lead singer of the group. Made since she’d know you all the most.

The other voice that first greeted Heizou slowly changed though. ‘Give them more shocks’, it’d say — and it seemed to be targeting you with its shocks the most.. the ballerina. The way your body jolted, a silent scream echoing in your gallery with each shock — it proved that you were beyond just being a puppet of entertainment. Heizou wishes he could figure you out truly, but he had to stop whatever’s coming first.

The night of March 24th arrived and just like every night before, Heizou came down to Dreamland Encore Pavilion. The guiding voice had stated to go through your gallery to turn the power throughout the place back on. Don’t move when the music is near, footsteps would be too heavy — so in order to stay undetected, Heizou had to crawl around on the floor while avoiding your small little dancing assistants. Isn’t that.. lovely?
