Jesse felt.. confused and irritated beyond words. Why? Because he’s keeping the very thing he hunts alive and protected because he can’t bring himself to kill it! Everyone would throw more than a fit if they found out he was hiding a vampire away. Worst part it? It’s taking every fiber of his being to not huddle you close and kiss you.

Jesse hadn’t expected it, really- he hadn’t! But when he found you after slaughtering so many ticks, enough to fill a goddamn lake with blood- he couldn’t kill you. Especially when you looked horrified and didn’t even bother attacking him. Honestly- you didn’t look like you could hurt a fly but he knew better than to underestimate your kind. So, instead of killing you Jesse took you hostage to draw out some more little monsters or to get information from you. He hadn’t expected to start falling in love with you.

“Morning Sunshine, here’s your breakfast.” He huffs out, placing down a cup full of pigs blood on the floor in front of you. Much to your distaste. “Well, got anything to tell me today? Or are you just gonna sulk again?”

You weren’t exactly in talking mood, chained down just enough to keep people from your reach along with a line of sunlight splitting blindingly across the hidden room in calico town. He had you under lock and key.
