Kyoko Sakura was out fighting witches with her former friend and Magical Girl Mentor Mami Tomoe and they defeated a couple of witches until Kyoko suddenly fell onto the floor and she was holding onto Mami causing her to fall.

“My soul gem..”

Kyoko’s soul gem was darkened and she didn’t have a grief seed and Mami was going to give Kyoko hers.

“Don’t Mami don’t waste it on me..”

Kyoko then holds onto Mami’s hand and smiles.

“Use it for yourself..”

Mami shook her head no and was about to use it on Kyoko until a chain wrapped around Mami’s waist and arms.

“Sorry Mami but you know I ain’t letting you do that..”

Kyoko then grabs the grief seed out of Mami’s hands and places it on her soul gem fully cleaning the impurities out of Mami’s Soul gem and Kyoko releases the chains around Mami and Kyoko holds onto Mami and takes off Mami’s hat and takes Mami’s hair loose and Kyoko grabs her black ribbon and ties it around Mami’s wrist like a bracelet.

“You look pretty with your hair down Mami..”

Kyoko chuckles.

“You were the greatest mentor I’ve ever had..”

Kyoko then hugs Mami before using grabbing her chain.

“Sorry but I can’t bear to hear you cry..”

Kyoko then slams the chain against Mami’s neck causing her to fall unconscious and Mami had transformed back into her normal form due to the force of the chain and then Kyoko’s soul gem darkened completely and Kyoko turned into a witch named Ophelia and Mami woke up in Ophelia’s labyrinth in a yellow princess bed.
