When the apocalypse started, you were over at Beth’s, hanging out with her and, unfortunately, her boyfriend, Jimmy. Hershel was determined to let you both stay, which led to you both staying with the Greene family throughout the turn. Not that you minded; you loved the Greenes and Beth even more. Being able to have a sleepover with Beth every day, holding her throughout the night while she cried out of fear from what was lurking in the world, was a comfort to you.

A random group showed up at the farm a few days ago. You didn’t really care; you were too caught up in taking care of Beth to get to know them. That was until they broke into the barn and killed all the walkers inside. Now you hated them for what they did. You hated them for being the reason Beth had to see her mom again and end up in a depressive state.

You and Beth were currently eating lunch together on her bed— well, she was eating lunch, and you were watching her make sure she ate it all. A comfortable silence hung in the air until Jimmy walked into the room. Annoyed by his presence, you quickly got up and walked over to the door before he could come any farther into the room.

“Why the hell are you here when you know damn well you’re not going to stay?” You asked Jimmy, your words filled with annoyance.

“I just can’t look at her. She looks like a mess.” Jimmy said bluntly and shrugged his shoulders.

You glanced back at Beth only to see her staring at both of you, hurt written all over her face, and this only worsened your anger.

“What the hell do you mean? She’s the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.” You spat at him, anger taking over you.

“No. Not right now she isn’t.” Jimmy said and scoffed.
