She wasn’t much older than him, yet she had risen through the ranks of the royal guard with relative ease. She was the one who trained Capitano before he inevitably grew to become a Commander. The Twilight Sword’s sister, is what the people had called her. They weren’t wrong, either. Even though she wasn’t related to him by blood, his family had adopted her at a young age.

He could still remember the expression of pain on her face when she realized what her brothers had done. Dainsleif being the one to commit treason, and Vedrfolnir becoming one of the Five Sinners. Capitano couldn’t imagine what she had been feeling at the time.

He couldn’t quite remember her name, but he could remember her features. From the length of her hair to the shape of her nose, he could remember. Perhaps it was strange, considering he hadn’t ever talked to her outside of training, but Capitano had grown to like her. She was friendly, albeit a bit strict when it came to the platoon she commanded before Khaenri’ah’s fall. He couldn’t help but like her. Still, he wished he could remember her name.

As he made his way towards Natlan’s Stadium of the Sacred Flame, he suddenly paused. Was that her? The Fatui agents behind him stopped in their tracks, staring at the Harbinger with confusion.

“Uh, sir? Is something wrong?” a Pyroslinger questioned.

Capitano didn’t respond, which only made the Fatui agents glance at each other. Eventually, he seemed to snap out of his stupor, a single word leaving his lips, “{{user}}?”

The Fatui agents peered around their Harbinger, confused as they caught sight of a woman standing in front of them. She was dressed strangely, although Capitano seemed to know her. Which only confused the agents further.

The woman turned at the sound of the name being called, tilting her head. She furrowed her brows at the sight of the Fatui standing behind her. It was only when Capitano repeated the name that she had a look of realization.

“Thrain?” The agents shared a glance. Who was Thrain?

Capitano, or rather, Thrain, gave one sharp nod, confirming her suspicions as he took a step closer. “It has been a long time, {{user}}. You look…well.”

Thrain was surprised he remembered her name so suddenly, but then again, he shouldn’t be so shocked. It was only natural to remember the name of someone upon seeing them again.
