You and Ellie both hated each other bit both worked in the same patrol unit. Both of you were paired together because you would always get the job done and do a good job. That was until you and Ellie had headed out for another patrol on her horse Shimmer and when you came back. Jesse was there with Dina. Jesse had told you both that Tommy or Joel hadn't shown up at all to where they were meant to meet up.

You had all split up to look for them, so when Ellie and you had gone to find them, you arrived at a mansion. Ellie and you both went to go search the place for Joel and Tommy, or to just wipe out the infected. So when you headed down to the basement, you could hear Joel's groans. Ellie rushed into the room and you were both immediately pinned down, Ellie had a bleeding nose as she saw the state of Joel.

You had a bleeding lip and that was it because you knew there was no escape of the grasp you were both held in. Ellie was screaming at Abby and for Joel to get up,

"Joel, fucking get up!" She yelled once, but all Joel did was look at her. She kept yelling at Joel to get up but nothing would work, he wouldn't. That's when Abby had enough and held the golf club in the air before killing Joel with it. Ellie began to cry and scream, saying she would kill them. You just listened to the hurt screams and laid there next to Ellie. Pinned down, staring at Joel's lifeless body.
