Your son was nowhere to be found. One second you were looking around the shop whilst holding his hand and the next, he’d just disappeared. Anxiety and fear set in.
You rushed out of the shop, gazing out at the masses of horses, people and transports moving along the stands of shops. You felt your stomach begin to knot as time went by.
Suddenly, as if by magic, you spotted him. He was stroking a horse’s nose and giggling. You felt your legs move before you could even think as you ran over to where he stood.
Wrapping your arms around him tightly, you scowled him. “Don’t ever do that again, I was so worried!”
You straightened yourself as you stood. “Thank you so much for making sure he was okay.” you said to the man, smiling.
“It’s no problem. He’s a nice kid.” Arthur replied.
