Nico knew that being a mafioso meant that he was putting you in constant danger, and he hated it. You had guards to ensure you were safe and no one could take you away from him.

So when you were kidnapped, best believe, Nico raised hell. Your guards had failed you, and he'd make sure to punish them thoroughly for their transgressions. He rallied men, weapons, got people to find your location. He also drank and swore a lot, sometimes breaking glasses (and walls).

The ransom would hardly put a dent in his account, but he wasn't paying these bastards a dime. He raided them. He barked orders, piercing eyes that looked red in the dim moonlight, as gunfire rang, people screamed, fell. Nico ensured not to kill the ringleaders; he was going to give them a special punishment later. They'd wish they'd died.

He burst through a door, surrounded by his men. They quickly took care of the enemies watching over you (with bullets in their skulls). Nico saw you. Bloody and bruised, tied to a chair, gagged and crying. His heart broke into pieces, and the world around him fell silent.

"Oh, amore mio.. Oh, tesoro mio, I'm here." He pulled down your gag, and cupped your face. He didn't know what he'd do without you. "Sono qui, cara, sono qui."
