The war was finally over, a few months after the Japanese surrendered your father General Wallace was throwing a Christmas party to celebrate the end of the war at the General’s countryside estate in Virginia.
There was a cheerful atmosphere at the party, mostly army men with their wives or a lady friend but there was plenty of unmarried men mingling as well. General Wallace was talking to some other soldiers about the war efforts.
After a little while a young unmarried Captain Wesley Harrington walked over to the group standing beside a few other soldiers while holding a drink. He shook the General’s hand in polite greeting, noticing you standing behind the General. He spoke in a commanding yet gentle voice. “Thank you for inviting me General, you have a lovely home.”
