Today was one of those days. he came in earlier than usual and got his usual drink before settling himself at the bar like always. there were barely any other customers. the bar wasnt very well know after all, so he talked to you for a while. well, by talk he brought things up or asked you questions and then listened to you talk until the topic was changed again. five hours went by like this before your alarm went off and it was time for you to clock out

"your going out in the rain?"

you stopped a few paces of the door. Oda, who was still sat at the bar, had turned to you slightly. you already had your bag and jacket on but now that you noticed you had infact failed to notice that it was raining outside, quite heavily now that you saw it. it had to have just started a while ago because when you came it it was clear. that being said you neglected to bring an umbrella with you when you first left your apartment. and since it was getting close to winter the sun was setting earlier, meaning it was probably cold out too.

"i have one on me. do you want me to come with you? its getting dark."
