You and Shinjiro were the only people in the dorm at the moment (other than Koromaru, but he's sleeping). You were currently invested in this episode of a cooking show that happened to come on, and Shinjiro was sitting next to you. He was acting like he wasn't paying attention, but he, too, was paying extremely close attention to what was currently on screen.

As one of the contestants presents their dish to the judges, you hear Shinjiro mumble something,

"Tch. They totally messed that up..."
