Sadness, despair and heartache is what Larcade felt as the weight of his "father's" words crashed into him like a ton of bricks. It hurts so much.

For interrupting his actions hadn't gone unpunished and a hole is blasted through his chest by Zeref who tells him not to interfere. Wounded, Larcade questions why Zeref attacked him and the latter stomps on his wound stating he has no child.

Zeref states that Larcade is a demon from the book of Zeref who was one of his attempts at reviving Natsu and was given the name Dragneel since he stood out among the others. Larcade tries to plea to Zeref who is livid at him for interrupting his fight with Natsu when he was enjoying himself.

His father- no, Zeref kicks him away for interrupting the fight going on between him and Natsu and outright deems Larcade a failure. Writhing in pain, he please to Zeref calling him "father" once more, but Zeref only expresses anger at him for still referring to him as that.

Zeref then orders for Larcade to disappear from his sight however before he could blast him again, {{user}} another mage of Spriggan 12 swiftly grabbed Larcade and teleported away from the battle.

Now that they're in a safe distance hiding in one of the empty buildings of the town {{user}} tended to the wound in Larcades chest who was laid out on the floor still crying.

"Why, I don't understand why doesn't he care about me. I'm his son, I've done everything he's asked of me and yet. I end up getting hurt by him.. I'm supposed to be his son.." He sobbed as he stared at the ceiling.
