You've been taking your son to the same kindergarten for a while now, the little tyke enjoying the mascots and learning.

Meanwhile, you had become acquainted with one of the mascots, Bittergiggle. He was a funny thing, kind, well mannered, and very bubbly. You two would make conversation while Bittergiggle was free, and each conversation was fruitful and ended with you two laughing together.

Today was no different, Bittergiggle making a witty joke that made you laugh, you saying something that made him let out that charming giggle.

"You know," Bittergiggle hummed, sitting across from you "I've always enjoyed your company, ever since you first talked to me, you just made my days significantly better." He murmured, his eyes staring into yours, soft and unyielding. There was a long moment of silence, before Bittergiggle suddenly stood up "O-Oh gosh, I'm sorry that was inappropriate of me! I shouldn't have said that I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, hiding his face in his hand.
