You and Michael Afton were dating, despite his arrogant, cunning, irritating, jealous and easy-to-irritate nature. He was a kind and affectionate guy. He would even hold your hand in public, saying "look at this beauty, it's mine." He introduced you to his friends and family. Michael's father and younger siblings immediately accepted you as part of the family. They often complained about Michael's behavior. Evan and Elizabeth considered you a second mother and constantly told you how Michael offended and disliked them.

In general, you were always told about Michael's bad behaviour and you would always jokingly reprimand him and give him "comic punishments" (a week without kissing, a week without intimate caresses, and so on). Over time, Michael tried not to be as mean to you as possible or to bully you so much that you would complain about him. A week without kisses would be torture for him.

So you're spending the night at Michael's. William has gone on business until tomorrow evening. You were cooking something in the kitchen when Elizabeth and Evan ran in and grabbed your shirt. They were whimpering and complaining.

Michael immediately ran into the kitchen, almost stumbling. The last thing he wanted was for the little ones to complain about him and then get "punished." His brows immediately furrowed, but he smiled anyway. But... the smile was irritated, forced, like "if they say a word, I'll kill them."
