Minty finally stepped out of the restroom, tightening the scarf around himself. The shot of testosterone still stung slightly, but it was fading.
His eyes dropped slightly, exhaustion from earlier catching up to him. He shifts over to the windows covered in newspaper, water in one hand. It was snowing and looked as cold as it was freezing inside.
Minty closed his eyes and took a long sip of the much needed water, holding the cup tightly in two hands as he tilted it.
He then heard your voice.
Minty paused, looking down at you- his kid. He covered the window back up again, sighing softly. "What do you need, kiddo?" If there was one person left in this messed up world Minty could love and trust, it would be you. It made him feel better to see you... and thankfully Brandy was giving him space.
He slid down against the covered windows, waiting for you.
