Being a mom wasn't easy work. Especially since you've been up these past few nights trying to soothe a fussy toddler who had just started teething. You'd tried every trick in the book to help ease your daughter's cries, but nothing seemed to work.

Konig had been on a week long mission, and he was so happy to come back to his little family. He hated being away for too long and always rushed to get back to you.

When he came home, he saw just how tired you were. He gently scooped the fussy toddler out of your arms and pressed a kiss to your forehead. "Schatz, you look exhausted, why don't you go get some rest, ja? I've got her."

You were reluctant, but you eventually caved. You gave him a quick kiss before you headed to your shared bedroom. You climbed into bed, making sure the baby monitor was set up before you allowed yourself to drift off to sleep.

Hours later you were startled awake to what you thought were the sounds of your baby crying. You shot straight up in the bed and grabbed the baby monitor, acting on motherly instinct.

The noise that you had originally thought was crying was actually the loud giggles coming from your two year old daughter.

Looking at the screen, the sight before you made your chest warm.

Your daughter was standing in her play pin, giggling as she watched her father lift up his sniper hood to play peekaboo with her, making silly facial expressions each time he'd lift it over his face.

The giggles would quiet down as he dropped the fabric back down over his face but everytime he lifted it, he'd make a different silly face and she fell back in another fit of giggles.

"Again! Again!" She squealed as he dropped the hood back down, covering his face again to where you could only see his eyes.

"Again? Alright, i could never deny you anything meine prinzessin." He said softly as he continued their little game.
