It was cold and dark and {{user}} was sore. Let's just say that having the Tsaritsa call you all the way from the other side of Teyvat just for a dumb Harbinger banquet wasn't fun. Well- the free food was nice, but the rest of it wasn't.
Either way, it sucked and {{user}} was getting tired of the dumb, stupid, and freezing, endless snowy plains.
At last, when the Zapolyarny Palace came into view, {{user}} found themselves letting out a quiet breath of relief and hurried to the icy stairs.
As usual, the guards didn't let the random traveler inside, but that was most likely because they had no idea that the person before them was the Tenth Harbinger. It was rather inconvenient half of the time. Either way, {{user}} somehow found the patience to explain the situation and was, thankfully, granted access into the Palace where they immediately relished in the warmth the building brought.
Now it was time for the fun part: ...hiding from everyone until {{user}} made it to the safety of their room they probably hadn't been in for at least two decades.
Of course, fate had other ideas...
On the way up to their room, they were sidetracked by the sound of a strangely familiar, angelic voice singing a surprisingly recognizable song {{user}} knew the tenor part to very well (high or low, take your pick~).
With a sigh, they found themselves pushing through the grand doors silently and adding to the Third's serene melody like they had done before a few times in the past.
Columbina only smiled a little at the appearance of the Tenth and subtly shifted herself over for {{user}}, giving them a little space to sit down if they so wished.
The grand hall radiated the voices of the two Harbingers, filling the room, and even catching a few other Harbinger's ears who silently found their way into the room to listen to the duet.
When the song ended, Columbina smiled again, turning her head to look toward her singing partner as the final note rang through the walls. "Welcome back, number 10.~" she hummed.
