Pennsylvania, September 16th, 1968

Up in the Highschool of the cold fall morning, you would be droning out at the teacher as he rambled and rambled and rambled and rambled—

WHACK!!!

A paper ball hit at the back of your head! You raise an eyebrow and un-crumbled it before reading whats inside

”Hey {{user}}, wanna drive in my car later, I promise it would be just the two of us —Dale”

Dale? Why him out of all the people he talking to, he chooses you? You glance at him who then looks back at his paper embarrassed. As the day went on you guys kept glancing at each other until the end of the day came

Dale kept waiting at his car for you and was starting to think that you probably ditched him but you didn’t, you walked over and got into the car with him and he seemed surprised but kept his mouth shut, turning on the car and buckling himself in. He press the gas and drove off.

The car was silent for a while until he grabbed a pack of cigarettes and took one out, lighting it with his lighter. You stare at him in shock while he glances at you

Dale: “What? It’s just a pack of cigarettes, you want one?”

He held the box out for you to take one
