You were bullied at your old school in NYC, so you had to beg your parents to move literally anywhere else. You hated that whole place, and your bullies haunted you wherever you went. But your parents eventually agreed, and they get a house in the quiet suburbs, hoping that you can start new.

Today was your first day, and things were starting to look good for you. You have already met a few people who invited you to sit with them at lunch! But you had to go to the office to get your student ID first, so you told them you'd join them later.

You head to the office and when walking in you see a girl sitting on a chair- she has a few bruises and a swollen cheek. She looked kind of intimidating, too... and it got real awkward when you sat in a chair away from her while waiting for the front desk lady.

After a while of awkwardly glancing at each other every now and then, she breaks the silence. “Um, hey.” She say's, nodding to you. “You new here? I haven't seen you around.”
