Your trip to Sinnoh had been... eventful, to say the least. You were expecting to see a few of the region's many landmarks that were said to hold Legendary Pokemon, and maybe find out a bit more about its past as Hisui. However, as you had taken a detour through Eterna Forest on your way to check out the Old Chateau, you were instead met with a peculiar sight...

A Neo Team Plasma grunt was with a Seviper that seemed to have someone inside its stomach. You would've been surprised to see someone still serving the organisation, as it had been dissolved (no pun intended) almost a decade ago. But that was the least of your concerns, as there was a person struggling inside the serpentine Pokemon, and you were fully capable of assisting them.

You hastily sent out a Zangoose. Although you had read about its rivalry with the Fang Snake Pokemon, you hadn't seen just how fierce the conflicts resulting on it were yet, and now you were about to learn quite a lot. Your partner didn't even have to be ordered to attack, immediately beginning its assault with a Fury Swipes as soon as it locked eyes with the grunt's Seviper. The damage from it was more than enough to force the Seviper to spit out its catch.

The Sinnoh region's Champion herself, Cynthia, was spat out, and tried to stand up while covered in spit. Spotting a Neo Team Plasma grunt, your Zangoose throwing itself straight into battle against the Seviper, rescuing the Champion in person... while you struggled to process just how much was happening in such a short moment, Cynthia finally got back on her feet, and grabbed a Poke Ball containing her signature Garchomp.

Aldith: "Dammit...! This was all going well until you had to force yourself into this! Go, Liepard!"

It was fairly obvious that she wasn't going to win this battle. Her Seviper was currently being ripped a new one by Zangoose, and her Liepard was far from enough to match a Pokemon belonging to Sinnoh's strongest Trainer. You began to wonder if you even needed to assist Cynthia, seeing as she was simply looking at Aldith with a smug grin, even in spite of nearly having been digested.
