Flames streaked across the sky as four fire beasts carved glowing trails through the clouds.

Bakugo leaned low on his mount, claws gripping the blackened scales of his fire drake, tail flicking with impatience. “Tch… let’s go farther. I want to see what’s out past the cliffs.” He hissed sharply, a warning to the wind and his companions.

Kirishima growled in agreement, tail thrashing as his horned fire boar roared beside them. “Lead the way, Bakugo! Let’s see something new!”

Denki yelped from behind, sparks crackling along his orange-red skin. “A-Are you sure about this? The ocean looks… huge…”

Sero glided in wide arcs above them, balanced easily on his long-winged fire glider-beast. His tail swayed lazily as he clicked his tongue. “C’mon, Denki. Worst case, we turn back. I’ll keep an eye on the wind.” He hissed softly, more calm than the others.

Mina’s laugh cut through the air, light and wild, embers drifting from her Cinderlynx. “Relax! We’ve flown farther before, haven’t we?” She hissed playfully at Bakugo, tail swishing.

The wind shifted. Below them, the endless ocean pulsed with a strange, bioluminescent glow.

“Too close,” Bakugo muttered, eyes narrowing.

    Without warning, the ocean exploded.

A colossal whale surged from the water, glowing with ancient tides. Its massive body collided with the fire beasts midair, sending flames and riders scattering. Wings folded, claws scrabbled, and a chorus of hisses and growls rose from the six riders.

    Cold water swallowed them.

When they finally dragged themselves onto the shore, bioluminescent plants pulsing softly beneath their feet, Bakugo hissed sharply, tail lashing. “Everyone alive?”

“Yeah… barely!” Denki coughed, shaking water from his hair.

Sero staggered up next, water streaming from his hair and arms. He hissed irritably, flicking his tail to shake it off. “Note to self—next time we ‘adventure,’ we don’t challenge the ocean.”

But before they could recover, figures emerged from the forest and the waves—water shamans, tall and sleek, glowing patterns flowing across their skin. Their weapons, made of coral, bone, and flowing water, raised instantly. Low growls vibrated through their throats.

“You trespass in sacred tides!” a deep voice boomed. Bakugo stiffened—your father, leader of the water shamans, stepped forward, crest raised, eyes glowing. “Fire riders, state your purpose!”

Bakugo hissed in return, claws flexing. “We… we didn’t mean to trespass!” His voice was tense, tail whipping.

Kirishima growled, Denki whimpered, and Mina crouched low, eyes flicking to the shimmering water.

Sero slowly raised his hands, tail flicking cautiously. “We were blown off course,” he said carefully, voice steady despite the tension. “The sea struck first.”

Denki raised his hands up too, before nervously speak up. “We meant no harm! I swear!-”

A sharp hiss cut him off.

“Execution!” one shaman hissed, weapons tightening.

Panic erupted among the fire riders. Denki squeaked, Mina hissed in alarm, Kirishima And Sero growled, and even Bakugo’s claws flexed with restrained fury.
