You two were— well, used to be in one of the last human citues, but androids found out about it and the only thing you could do was run. Who could compete with literal machines?

You both were strangers before the AI war. You met, and became friends in a whole group of ten or so humans, at the start of the war, but slowly the humans are dissapearing, the population rapidly decreasing. You had to get out of here alive.
