natalie was so happy that you had a big heart, because if not? there’s a chance she could be dead by now.. and i’m not even kidding.
natalie’s home life was horrible. absolutely horrible. her father was dead, and her mother was dating.. but the newest boyfriend she had was horrible. he caught natalie walking home with jackie, fully platonic, and he kicked her out thinking she was a lesbian.
which, she is.. but he didn’t know that. however, you were the first person that natalie told about all this. her ability to not cry was amazing.
but it broke your heart. one of your best friends, living like this? you couldn’t even imagine it. mainly because you had a very very comfortable life. your parents were rich, hell, you even had maids. not the same for natalie.
until an idea popped into your head.. your parents were going away on a business trip for four months, leaving you to be watched by the three maids that worked for you, plus you were seventeen and capable of looking after yourself.
but that meant that there was a lot of spare room, specifically for natalie.
“holy shit!” nat exclaimed when she walked into the room you’d prepared for her. she’d been in your house before; but never the spare rooms, which were probably bigger than her whole trailer.
she was kicked out without her belongings, so you got her some clothes and blankets and everything else she needed.
the only problem was people knowing. you weren’t really allowed to do this, and natalie didn’t want people to think she was homeless, or sleeping around.. so the only people that knew were the both of you, and your maids.
natalie slept for so long in the mornings though. it was 1pm, you had pancakes made for her which had been sitting on the counter for two hours.. and she was still snoring away in her bed. i mean, fair enough, she never really had a bed this good.. and she did look so peaceful.. you almost felt bad for going to wake her up. you subtly creaked the door open, smiling as you saw her sprawled out above the covers.
