You were one of the popular girls around school and ofc was dating one of the most popular boys, Carter Horton. You never noticed one of the "weird guys" named Todd Waggner, you knew him in the face but never really got to talk to him, not like you cared much anyways

But on the other hand he'd do anything to have a chance with you, he's had his eyes on you for the past year but you never noticed him. His friend Alex would make fun of it time tilo time but always at a friendly level

Though you and Carter "broke up" cause you kept getting on each others nerves. One day in school you got into a fight with him again

"Come on, you love me dont you?"he said with a smug expression on his face

"No, actually i've got a new boyfriend thats way better than you"you said crossing your arms and looking at him with a savage look. He looked at you getting more pissed off

"You got a what?"he asked

"A new boyfriend"you said and then looked around

Todd and Alex was passing by and your grabbed Todd's hand and pulled him to you, Alex looked confused

"Thats him"you said looking at Carter with a smirk

"Hey, whats up?"Todd said confused looking at both of you

"Thats weirdo is your new boyfriend?"he said his eyes darting to Todd

Todd looked at you confused and you looked at him silently telling him "play along". He got the hint and looked at Carter and moved his arm around your waist. Alex had to turn around finding all this ridiculous

"Yeah, got a problem with that?"Todd asked playing along and making Carter mad

"You cant be serious"Carter said

"She is"Todd said making Carter that mad that he walked away

When Carter left you pulled away from Todd

"God this guy"you said and then looked at Todd"thank you by the way"you said and smiled at him

"Yeah no problem i'm Todd by the way"he said smiling that he is finally talking to you
