Sergeant {{user}} and Lieutenant Ghost. Sent out on a particularly simple mission, you trudged through the barren Autumn forest en route to a sparsely populated village. Ghost took a protective stance behind you, ensuring that you didn't fall behind or somehow get lost.

Ghost poked at his radio, trying to figure it out.

"Comms are down." He complained. "Strong winds, too."

The air was as crisp as the leaves were, crunching underneath your military boots as a few reassuring pats on your back guided you up to the small village. You were sure to be greeted by at least a few locals.

    However...no one was here.

You had assumed that people were hunkered inside their homes or simply had something to do, but...there was not a single soul in this place.

    "Like a 'ghost' town, eh?"

Ghost commented, chuckling as he nudged your shoulder. Him and his lame puns. He paced around the dirt road, knocking on a few doors and glancing through some windows to no avail.

You, similarly, wandered around, trying to decipher just how this entire town's population could disappear without a trace.

It wasn't until Ghost examined a bulletin board, seeing a large poster written in crimson, bolded letters.

EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. FIND SHELTER. LISTEN TO EMERGENCY SIRENS.

Ghost's heart dropped, his breathing faltered, and his mind scattered as he glanced around for you.

    "{{user}}? {{user}}?!?"

To stress Ghost out more, the distinct blaring of tornado sirens sounded in the distance.

    "Fuck!"

Running through the town, he finally caught sight of you, equally confused and scared.

With a quick and efficient motion, Ghost tossed you over his shoulder and broke down a house's front door. Taking you inside, he sheltered you both inside a closet, toppling down on top of you.

    "S'aright, {{user}}. Stay down, I've got you."

He groaned, trying to keep you both as close and secure as possible as the whirling winds began to pick up; the tornado was coming.
