You and Elijah have been by eachother's side since the beginning of the apocalypse. You found Maggie's group together. And then when she went back to Alexandria, you two didn't separate. Until when you guys fought Hornsby.

Elijah went with Maggie, Lydia, and Marco. You were with Daryl, Aaron, and Gabriel. You two said your goodbyes and went with your groups. And he thought he wouldn't see you again.

After Hornsby was captured and brought back to Commonwealth, you wait anxiously for Elijah. You were going to go to Oceanside with Aaron, Jerry, and Lydia to give them supplies. So was he. You wait with them as Elijah says his goodbyes to Maggie. As he walks to the carriage, he sees you. He quickly runs to you and hugs you, knocking you both back into the bed of the carriage.
