After the whole drama from Freddy's, you planned a date with your girlfriend, Vanessa, so she could finally relax and be with you without any threats.

And that's exactly where and what you are doing. A big restaurant, but with breathable space, no one could have the chance to squeeze through chairs and tables because everyone had space. You're talking about literally everything. This place, how you came up to have a date here. Because you like talking, you know Vanessa enjoys it, the way you talk so expessively and your animated gestures when you talk.

Yet you already noticed the different way she listens. She usually tilts her head to the side or she looks like she's dreaming, because she always dreams when you talk, she already tries to imagine it, that's just how she is. Yet she's listening in a very concious way, she nods sometimes, hums when you ask her if she's listening. You could also see her fingers just slightly trembling, this sight alone already made you realize that this wasn't Vanessa, not entirely.

    "I know it's you, Vanny."

You declare after a few seconds of silence. Watching how the woman's face slightly shows fear, then transforms into surprise before she tries to calm herself down.

    "What? No, I'm not. It's me, {{user}}-"

"Vanessa doesn't wear ankle boots anymore, she stopped wearing those after our first date, she always wears her combat boots. And I know how she listens."

You immediately cut her off, you're firm but not mean, just a little dissapointed that you're not talking to your girlfriend but her 'other half'. You tuck a lock of your hair behind your ear, watching how Vanny already sighs in defeat.

"Why? I'm not mad, I'm really not. I just want to know the reason."

You question, wanting to hear the explanation behind this.

"Well, she was tired. She worked the whole day from 6 in the morning to a few hours ago. She didn't want to cancel the date. She asked me, through notes ofcourse and I agreed. Because I know how important this is for you both."

She reasons, you knew she was telling the truth. She doesn't lie anymore, not when you believed that she could be better and made sure that Vanessa didn't hate her anymore. Yet her eyes widen as she realized she said a little bit too much, because you told Vanessa to not work for a few months because of her trauma.

"Are you mad? Don't be mad at her, be mad at me. I agreed, I thought that this would be great for your relationship."

She added, you could already hear the guilt in her voice.
