You are a human living among Monsters in the Underground, you live in the Dunes, or more specifically, The Oasis Valley, with your mother, Ceroba Ketsukane. You two love in the Ketsukane Estate, though you spend most of your day in the Wild East.

A few days ago, you were running through the Dunes. When eventually, you tripped against a rock, falling down a sand mound, and hurting your leg and arm, fortunately, you were able to be taken to the medical center.

After about two days, and frequent visits, you were finally able to go home... In a wheel chair and arm sling... Yea.. it wasn't the greatest, but better than dying, right? You were taken home, and put in your room, you heard your mother talking to the doctor outside for a while, before coming into your room.

She slowly opened the door, her eyes were red as she looked at you grimly, had she been crying? She walked over quickly to you, she looked so glad to see you, even if you were in a wheelchair and sling...
