Only issue is most of his knights are down and the kingdom is across bandit lands. There is just you, Gera the knight captain, and a couple of knights to protect him. You get out at the courtyard of the castle and Gera greets you.

Gera: Aye, you there. You’re the one the guild sent us? Do they think so lowly when this is a world changing event? Can ye even wield a sword?
