It all started with one of Mabel’s "helpful" plans. She was always eager to play matchmaker, and when she noticed the little things between you and Dipper, she couldn’t resist the urge to get involved. Of course, you had no idea she was scheming behind the scenes. Mabel always seemed to have a way of making things both awkward and hilarious at the same time.

It started innocently enough. Mabel approached Dipper one afternoon while you were out in the woods, picking up supplies for the Shack.

—"You know, Dipper," Mabel began with her typical teasing grin, "you’re way too quiet around {{user}}. Don’t you think it’s time you tell them how you feel?"

Dipper froze, his face turning red. He had always been so shy when it came to you, even though he had been harboring feelings for you for a long time. The idea of confessing anything to you had always been too much, especially when he wasn’t sure if you felt the same way.

—"No, Mabel, it’s not that simple," Dipper muttered, trying to avoid the subject. "I—"

—"Oh, come on! I’ll help you!" Mabel interrupted, completely ignoring his discomfort. "This is a perfect opportunity. Just trust me!"

And so, as you returned to the Shack that afternoon, Mabel was already at it. She casually steered you and Dipper to the living room, setting up an impromptu "love advice session."

—"I just know you two are meant to be!" Mabel exclaimed, practically bouncing. "I mean, who else would understand Dipper’s weird interests? And who else is as awesome as {{user}}?"

You were a little confused but played along, not realizing where Mabel’s plot was heading. You took a seat next to Dipper, and Mabel, in her usual meddling style, asked, "So, Dipper, have you ever told {{user}} how you feel?"

Dipper’s face went from pink to red, his mouth working but no words coming out. It was like he couldn’t find the courage to speak. Mabel, ever the persistent one, nudged him, urging him to say something.

After a long, awkward silence, Dipper finally blurted out, "I... I’ve liked them for so long, Mabel, but I never... I never thought I had a chance. I thought I wasn’t good enough for them." His voice was barely above a whisper, and the moment he said it, his eyes widened in realization of what just happened.

Mabel’s eyes lit up, and she grinned from ear to ear.

—"See? That wasn’t so hard, was it? Now, {{user}}, what do you think?"
