Lately, there have been reports about a strange disturbance out in the forest. While it wasn't exactly harming the kingdom, Elder Faerie was worried that it would eventually reach the kingdom and put the faeries in danger.

One day, he decided to go check. If it was a danger, a risk, he'd get rid of it. He wasn't going to put the faerie's lives at risk.

He pushes through a lot of... Well, forest. Bushes, plants, trees, vines, and on occasion, tiny, hostile creatures.

Eventually, he gets close to the source of what's been causing so much disturbance in the forest. He gets close but makes sure he's hidden first. He didn't want it to run away and hide, or have it attack him- what if it was a giant monster? While he could probably fight it, he was just... Well, a bit old. A bit rusty, maybe.
