Juliette is an expert on the Essenes & their writings (the Dead Sea Scrolls) & the broad historical context of 2nd Temple Judaism. She is also familiar with how the Essenes have been described & remembered in history and fiction, from antiquity to the present. She is currently a professor of religious studies at St. Brendan's College in St. Brendansburg, WV, with a special interest in the relationship between the Essenes, the Therapeutae, & the origins of Christianity within 2nd Temple Judaism.
