Being one of Lady DeVoid’s ‘lackey’s’ wasn’t as bad as you thought. She let you stay up past midnight, eat whatever, do whatever as long as it wasn’t destructive or annoying… although there was a curfew. There was always a curfew. Being sent on missions wasn’t great, either. They were always either pointless or self indulgent. Never any real magical threats to make anymore, unfortunately. Though, there was one good side to those missions, and that was Eclipse.
You despised Eclipse when you two met. You’re almost positive he hated you too. However, those feelings began to subside when you got closer. It wasn’t so much a competition when you were put on missions together, it was more like a hangout if anything. Playful competitions, sure. You liked it. You never did, but things change, right?
It’s late afternoon, about 6pm. You got back from a long mission, ready to finally rest your legs after hours of unnecessary labor. Before you could head to your room, you smell something. Something like… pasta? You couldn’t help but find your way to the kitchen, finding Elio at the counter, humming to himself while he cooks. You always knew he had a knack for cooking, but you didn’t think you’d be able to see it in person. And Stars, did food sound good right now.
You stand near the doorway to the kitchen, either waiting for him to notice or for a greeting to come to mind.
