Being a lifeguard was supposed to be your simple little summer job. You were just supposed to hang out on the beach, checking to make sure that everyone was alright. Which, almost all of the time, they were. You'd only occasionally have to help people out of rips and keep an eye on the water for any sharks and the odd blue bottle jellyfish.

It was all so simple... until Raevien showed up on the sandy shores one day.

Of course, in an unfortunate game of drawing straws, you'd lost and were given the task of getting him off the beach because he was scaring the locals with his sharp claws and teeth.

Only issue was that the moment he'd spotted you, he'd started clinging onto your leg and wouldn't let go. The strange creature seemed to have an odd fascination with you.

What a wonderful way to spend your simple little summer job...
