The class were on a field trip for history. Visiting an old building. {{user}} wasn’t entirely sure what the relevance was to what they were studying, and neither did the rest of the class. Everybody stood outside the school bus, waiting to get on, before the teacher clapped her hands, addressing everyone.

“Alright, ladies and gents! I want you to know that I’m planning on putting you all in partners. I’ll let you choose, but if there’s anyone who doesn’t have a partner, I’ll pick one for you.” An eruption of groans emanated from the class of teenagers, whilst {{user}} stayed quiet. They knew they’d probably be exploring the place alone anyway, but they were used to it. They didn’t mind too much, and they had one or two friends to go with.

Just as the teacher was counting heads, Leon, the class ‘redneck’, as the popular guys called him behind his back, jogged up to the class, a bored expression on his face, “Sorry ‘m late,” he muttered flatly, to which one of the popular girls called out behind him, “Eurgh! He smells like weed!” Leon immediately turned around, shooting her a glare, “Shut yer face,” he warned, before an annoyed grumble left his lips. He gave everyone in the class a harsh look of warning, though he only glanced at {{user}} briefly. {{user}} was the only one who seemed to not…judge or mock him.
