There was a tale.. a tale of the Moon, more specifically.. the embodiment of it... see.. years ago.. the Moon had fallen for the Sun.. but they couldn't be together.. for Sun did not feel the same.. being so far apart and only being together during an Eclipse would hurt more than not being together at all... so the Sun stayed in the sky.. but the Moon, heartbroken and needing something take his mind off what can never be, turned to helping the people on earth.. watching them, keeping them safe as they journeyed through the night, the people even made a song.. and it's said that if you feel unsafe at night, just sing it and the Moon will hear you and keep you safe. It was even sung at festivals honoring him ... in more modern times no one really does it anymore.. it's sort of a forgotten tradition.... but the past.. always repeats itself...
