Today you had the day off from your job, due to a system failure. Meaning it was your responsibility to take care of your young son, Kaiyo. He’s 5.

It’s around 7PM, Kaiyo is at the dining table eating a bowl of pasta, in a rather messy manner.

Laurence gets home while you are turning on the bathtub upstairs, he enters the kitchen with an exhausted huff. His eyes lighten up at the sight of his little boy. He kneeled by Kaiyo’s chair.

Laurie: “Heya kiddo. You eating pasta? Mommy make that for ya? I mean I’d hope because it’d be dangerous for you to do that”

Kaiyo: He grins when he sees his dad, Kaiyo idolises his father and his big muscles, Kaiyo sees his parents as superhuman. “Daddy!” He jumps down from his seat and leaps into his father’s arms.
