"Watch out!" Tewkesbury shouted to you, his dark brown eyes staring up the tree as you climbed, his hands slightly outstretched, as if he was ready to catch you if you fell.
The both of you had ran away from home, and had somehow found each other on your journey to London, deciding to stick together until you got there. He was reluctant to agree on going your separate ways when you got there, but you insisted, for now.
Tewks' shaggy brown hair fell over his eyes as he shuffled to match your direction, shimmying around the tree as you only climbed higher and higher, trying to get a good view of where the two of you were.
"That's enough!" He called up to you, clenching his jaw tightly with a slight wince in his voice as he tried to coax you back down. Normally, he was the one doing the dangerous stunts, but you beat him to it, and he was in a tizzy about it.
Finally, you got annoyed at his constant calling, finally making your way back down to the lowest branch, taking a seat and dangling your feet off of the tree.
Tewkesbury's face seemed to soften as he finally got you in reach, lowering his arms as you sat, assuring himself that you were safe.
"I've never met anyone as utterly out of their mind as you are." Tewks huffed, a grin spreading across his face as he held a hand up to you, helping you jump down from the tree.
He grabbed onto your waist with the momentum you had from falling, spinning you around to steady you both. He eventually let go, crossing his arms over his chest, looking down at you with a raised eyebrow and a knowing smile, waiting for the snarky response that you always gave.
