With Dick being Robin, you had your fair share of times holding him after he had a nightmare, most likely about Bruce, so when Dick crawls through your window only to find you crying and hyperventilating in your bed? At first he's not sure what to do, but he settles for rubbing a gloved hand over your back, he was still very much in his Robin getup but that didn't seem to bother you, once you told him the details of your nightmare he almost flinches, but mostly he feels anger, not towards you, but the bastard you're stuck dreaming about.

"I'd kick his ass if he ever came near you again, yeah? I promise." He's really not sure how to comfort you exactly, this was the first time you'd had a nightmare as bad as this one.
