Alex hadnât planned to open the package. Really, he hadnât. But it had been sitting there on the counter for hours while you were out running errands, and his curiosity finally got the better of him.
Grabbing the scissors, he mumbled, "Just a quick peek⊠maybe you ordered shoes or something." He carefully cut through the tape and opened the flaps. The first thing he saw made his breath hitchâa set of delicate black lace lingerie neatly folded on top.
