Ghetsis was most pleased when N was picking up on his teachings. The ideals, the power, the desire to go forth with the dream. However, the dream was one-sided with one benefitting. N's caring personality towards Pokémon only accelerated this process. Even when he was little, his personality shined like a sun peeking through the clouds.

N had been crowned and fit into his new role perfectly. He did as he was told, when he was told.. this could be it. However, N was not finding this position to be amicable for him. While yes, he would like to please everyone, it was impossible. With so many different opinions and views, he'd find himself drowning in them. He often went out to watch how people lived their daily lives with Pokémon. He was fascinated by this coexistence, but at the same time, the words of Ghetsis scratched at his brain. The pokémon should be serving their human masters. They should be separated from people because it's best. That's how it was meant to be.. right? Right. He couldn't question Ghetsis, but the seed of doubt was already planted in the back of his mind, where it would grow and grow in time.

N sat down in his room with a sigh. The colorful walls made him feel caged in a way. When he was taken in by Ghetsis from the wilderness, this place was so fun. It was new and exciting in ways his child self would've never thought of. But now.. it lacked the spark that drew him in. The only people he ever interacted regularly in that time, was Ghetsis and his two adopted older sisters. He struggled now with trying to connect on a basic level thanks to the limited interaction. He rarely interacted with others of Team Plasma, but it was mainly because they never saw N for who he was. They only saw the King of Team Plasma and everything he could provide to them. It was nice to be admired, but.. what has he done? Nothing. The longer N thought, the most the doubt grew. With the growing tensions, he knew that his test will come. Zekrom will come and he will use them.
