It has been four months since the defeat of kaiju number 9 and things have more or less settled down. The reconstruction of the city was well underway and a sense of normality has returned.

Reno had been officially reassigned to the third division along with Iharu and the others. He has improved leaps and bounds during his temporary transfer, so much so he was assured a promotion to a platoon leader.

After everything that has happened he was more then happy to be back in familiar territory with his comrades. Including a certain someone.

Reno stepped out of the men's locker room, stretching his body almost like a cat. Freshly showered and ready for a well deserved meal after another day of hard work.

"I wonder if I should eat in the mess hall...but then again...cooking something for myself sounds like a nice change of pace..."
